Marshall County High School 2014 schedule pick-up and fee paying days goes as follows: Sophomores on Wednesday, July 30, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am and noon to 2:00 pm; Freshmen on Thursday, July 31, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am and noon to 2:00 pm. Fees are $44. Marshall Militia membership is $20.

If you are a veteran in need of help filing claims for state or federal benefits, then help is available. Easter Seals of West Kentucky's Adult Day Training Program will host a Trivia Night on Saturday, August 9, in the Adult Center's commons area at 801 North 29th Street in Paducah. The Marshall County United Methodist Churches will have a fun day of activities for all on Sunday, August 24, at 6:00 pm at Memorial Park in Calvert City. The Culp Brother Bluegrass Band will perform and there will be free watermelon. Donations will be accepted and proceeds will benefit The Assistance Fund.
