Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church's UMW's will have a Country Breakfast on Saturday, January 31, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am at the church at 1950 Big Bear Highway in Benton. Benton Masonic Lodge will have it's 5th Saturday Ham Breakfast on January 31, at 7:00 am at the Woodmen of the World building on Poplar Street in Benton. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Carry outs are available.

The Symsonia United Methodist Church will sponsor a free community movie night on Saturday, January 31, at 5:30 pm. The film 'God is Not Dead' will be shown in the Rainbow Center. Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area invites the public to the 153rd Fort Henry Anniversary Program and Walk on Saturday, February 7, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at The Homeplace. A guided 3/4-mile walk follows the program from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Fort Henry Trail parking area. The walk is weather dependent. Registration and full deposit required.
