The Marshall County Rescue Squad is currently in the midst of their spring fundraiser through April 25. Draffenville Lions Club Community Picnic on Saturday, April 26, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at 262 Griggstown Road in Draffenville. Admission is free for food, games and door prizes. Everyone is invited.

CFSB Relay for Life Rebate Night at The Crossroads on Monday, May 12, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Adult dinners are $13 and kids dinners are $6. Half the cost of the meal and all tips go to Relay for Life.

Riverwoods Church Daughters of Hope Ministry will hold a "Little Black Dress" Affair on Tuesday, May 13, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the church on North Main Street next to Pizza Hut in Benton. Appetizers and desserts will be available while guest speaker Katarina Rosenblatt from Coral Springs, Florida will talk about her various books. Trivia Night at Ballard Memorial High School will take place Friday, May 16, to benefit the football team. The entry fee is $10 per player with teams of six people. Mulligans are available for $1. SmART Camp for grades 2-5 will be June 16-27 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am each day at the Children's Art Center at 1202 Elm Street in Benton. This camp is for boys and girls with an emphasis on performance. This year's musical is "The Granny Awards." The camp is limited to 30 participants. There will be a performance on June 27 at 1:30 pm. American Girl Camp Two for grades K-4 will be July 7-11 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm each day at the Children's Arts Center at 1202 Elm Street in Benton. This camp is for girls who attended Camp One in 2013. Featured dolls will be Josephina, Hispanic Culture, Saige, visual arts and equestrian, Isabell, dancer, Addie, African-American, Rebecca, Jewish, and Marie-Grace, Mardi Gras.
