American Legion Post 144 will host a Fall Turkey Shoot on Saturday, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, from dusk until they feel like stopping. The post is at 2047 Ridge Road in Gilbertsville. Reasonable rates per round, still targets used and winner gets choice of meats from King Brothers.

There will be benefit concert for Martha's Vineyard in Paducah at the Spring Bayou Baptist Church at 11205 Woodville Road in Kevil on Saturday, November 15, at 6:00 pm. The concert will feature Higher Praise Quartet from Calvert City and The Moreheads from Bandana. Thy will accept non-perishable food items and monetary donations so Martha Vineyards can provide meals to families in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Marshall County Humane Society's 'Santa Paws' will be Saturday, November 22, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Joe Creason Community Building. There will be Christmas pictures, bake sale, food, face painting, children's crafts, pet adoption and much more. All proceeds benefit the Marshall County Humane Society.
