Murray gets over $100K in Delta Grant

Murray

Communities in western Kentucky will see improvements to a local hospital, construction of a new emergency communications tower, repairs and extensions to water lines, and several other enhancements thanks to more than $1 million in funds from the Delta Regional Authority. Nearly $144,000 will be coming to Murray for installation of water, sewer, storm drainage, and an entrance road to a private retail development. This project will create 50 new jobs. The nine new investments for western Kentucky leverage $867,000 in federal resources into nearly $1.1 million in total public and private investment for the region. (City of Murray; Updated: 10:40 am, Friday)
